This chicken fried rice cooked on the griddle has been a staple in this household for many years. It’s loaded with flavor and is easy to do. We used the Pit Boss ultimate griddle but you can use any griddle including the Blackstone or a frying pan.

The perfect white rice.
Bring 2 cups of water to boil, add 1 cup rice, 1 tablespoon butter cover, and simmer 20 minutes and use a timer! Remove leave covered to cool.
1 cup of white rice
chicken Diced. I used thighs, you can use breast.
2 eggs, scrambled
carrots diced fine or frozen
green onion diced fine
red cabbage diced fine
1/2 and apple
1/2 cup soy
1/8 cup Hoisin sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Add soy to taste
Add Hoisin to taste
